Sinisa Mihajlovic believes Bologna ‘were superior to Napoli in the last 15-20 minutes’ and deserved a point from their 1-0 defeat.

The Rossoblu took their run of Serie A matches without a clean sheet to 40, as Victor Osimhen’s free header at the back post proved decisive at the Stadio Dall’Ara.

By the time Bologna woke up and started to create chances, it was too late to build up pressure on the Partenopei.

“It was a balanced game, we didn’t suffer very much at the back, but then we didn’t create much upfront either,” said Mihajlovic in his press conference.

“We were superior in the last 15-20 minutes and could’ve picked up a point, so it’s disappointing we didn’t finish those chances, but the performance was there.

“It’s a pity Danilo made a mistake on the goal, but he was impeccable otherwise. Unfortunately, this is just an unlucky period for us.”
