Sinisa Mihajlovic has indicated Sampdoria’s resolve to push Juventus this weekend, labelling the Week 20 meeting as ‘a decent test’.

Samp travel out to Turin this Saturday evening to take on a Bianconeri outfit that have won a club record 11 League games in a row.

“Both Sampdoria and Juventus will look to make a game of it,” Mihajlovic has promised to reporters in his pre-game address today.

“We are preparing for this game with our mentality, to face up to our opponents, like always.

“It will certainly be a decent match, with both sides going for it. They approach it off the back of 11 consecutive victories and for us it will serve as a decent test to gauge exactly where we’re at.

“All of their players are worth keeping an eye on, otherwise they wouldn’t have won 11 straight games and be on course for three successive Scudetto triumphs.

“We will have to think of them as a team, with attention to their strengths and weaknesses as well as those that they have in different formations.

“Conte? I know him more as a player, but I can say that he has shown himself to be the best Coach in the Italian championship.”

Mihajlovic is without Nenad Krsticic and Roberto Soriano for the trip.

“I’ve got confidence in those who will play and there will be no change in our offensive outlook tomorrow.

“Equally, I’m not worried about the prospect of Juventus switching formation. If that happens, we’ll look to counter it ourselves.”
