"It's a fundamental game for Fiorentina," he revealed. "If we don't go through it will be a problem. We care a lot about the Coppa Italia and would like to go all the way."

Looking back at Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Udinese, Mihajlovic said: "I am more angry than disappointed. I hope that it never happens again. It's been two nights that I haven't slept trying to understand.

"It's now the time for us to take responsibility and get out the best attributes that we have. Despite the many injuries we have got 19 points from 16 games, a better average than the previous management in the games at the beginning of the season.

"We haven't lost confidence. I hope the fans haven't too. During the winter break, we'll evaluate many things. But right now we are thinking about Parma. Fortunately we're back on the pitch sooner rather than later."
