Torino are reportedly planning to include a €90m release clause in Belotti’s new contract, amidst interest from Manchester United in particular, but Mihaljovic insists the figure is “exaggerated” for him or anyone else that cannot “win by themselves”.

“If there’s someone who will pay these figures, fine, but they are exaggerated, the valuations aren’t real,” he said at a Press conference ahead of Saturday’s match against Chievo.

“I don’t think that a player can be worth €90m or €100m in Belotti and Pogba’s cases. If they were, they should be able to score four goals per game and win by themselves.

“If I played now and not 20 years ago, for my characteristics, I’d also have been valued at €100m.

“If one day he leaves, the most important thing is that we’d rebuild the team with the money we’d get for him, although he’ll stay for at least as long as I’m here.”
