Sinisa Mihajlovic blasted his Torino side after they let a two-goal lead slip at SPAL.

An early Iago Falque brace meant the Granata were well on course for victory in Ferrara, but the home team fought back for a share of the points.

“It is definitely absurd to lose points in this way, just like against Verona,” a furious Mihajlovic told reporters.

“I am very disappointed. SPAL did well to keep believing they could come back.”

The Serb was particularly annoyed by Toro repeatedly giving away free-kicks in dangerous positions.

“I am angry. For the whole week I said not to give stupid fouls away near the area. Then, in the first half, we committed seven fouls.

“After the penalty they started to play, but it was too late. Two points thrown away.

“They scored two goals from two dead balls, they are things you have to avoid.”

SPAL’s equaliser came through a Mirco Antenucci penalty, but Mihajlovic would not comment on whether or not he believed it should have been awarded.

“Whether it was a penalty or not, we are better than SPAL. We should have won the match.

“I am very disappointed, it’s two points thrown away.”
