Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani will reportedly meet Carlo Ancelotti at midday in his final attempt to convince the Coach of a Rossoneri return.
It will be the fifth time the two have met in the last four days and it is believed that Galliani will look to tempt Ancelotti with a large transfer budget.
La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that if Ancelotti arrives, he will be given €120m to spend over the summer to strengthen the squad, reiterating reports from yesterday.
The newspaper also reports that the Coach himself will be offered a contract worth €4m per season, but Ancelotti is tempted to take a year off after two intense seasons with Real Madrid.
Galliani admitted to Corriere della Sera yesterday that he was yet to have an agreement with the 55-year-old.
“He hasn’t said yes to me, but neither has he said no,” explained Galliani.
“He doesn’t have doubts about Milan, he’s simply weighing up whether to step out for a year. We’re trying, but nothing is sure yet.”
Sky Sport Italia have also reported that since Ancelotti was sacked by Madrid on Monday, he has turned down approaches from Napoli, Roma and Liverpool.
