Palermo captain Fabrizio Miccoli says it is touch and go whether he’ll continue his career with his current club.

The 32-year-old has a year left on his contract at the Stadio Barbera, but he’s a wanted man – especially outside of Italy.

“I’ll meet with Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini over the next few days,” stated the 32-year-old.

“I would like to stay here at Palermo, but the chances of that happening at this moment in time are 50-50.”

Miccoli, 16 goals in 28 League games this term, worked under three bosses in Sicily this season and a new Coach is on the way for next term.

“I’ve spoken to Siena midfielder Gaetano D’Agostino about Coach Giuseppe Sannino,” the former Italian international added.

“However, Sannino is well known. He’s done well wherever he has gone.”

Sannino confirmed on Wednesday that he would be heading to Palermo.
