Roma’s new Board of Directors member Mia Hamm will “do my best for this club” and be their US ambassador.
The two-time FIFA World Player of the Year was appointed to the board this week and spoke to Roma Radio.
“It’s a complete honor and a privilege to serve on this board and I will do my best for this club,” said Hamm.
“My strength is having a name here in the US and being able to stand up in front of people, especially when Roma comes over.

Hamm revealed she had not yet had the chance to meet captain Francesco Totti, “but I admire him so much as a player.”
