The Belgian bagged a brace, while Arek Milik and Marek Hamsik were also on target.

“Without Gonzalo Higuain, we play more as a team unit. We all want to give more compared to last season and so far we’re doing that.

“My celebration was the one our kit-man Tommaso does. He and the others who work behind the scenes here are extraordinary people.”

It’s surprising to think Sarri only made his Serie A debut with Empoli in 2014.

“Sarri is very important for us and truly a Coach who should’ve been in the Champions League sooner. He is an excellent tactician.”
