Spal goalkeeper Alex Meret is “pleased” to be linked with Napoli, but “right now I’m only thinking about Spal”.
The youngster is on loan with the newly promoted club, but it’s reported the Partenopei could make a bid to his parent club Udinese in the summer.
“News and certain rumours have arrived,” Meret admitted to Corriere dello Sport.

“I’m pleased to be being considered, especially by such an important club. Right now I’m only thinking about Spal, we’ll see what the future will be.
“I think I’m still at the beginning of a path, I know I still need to grow a lot. I can’t say if I’m ready [for a big club], I haven’t played many games.
“I go forward and it’s too soon to think about other things.”
