Bologna midfielder Gary Medel has been ruled out for three weeks with a muscle injury.
The 32-year-old former Inter player pulled up in training with a suspected muscle problem yesterday.
It has since been confirmed that he aggravated his left hamstring and will therefore be sidelined for approximately three weeks.
Medel joined the Rossoblu from Besiktas last summer after two seasons with the Turkish side.
He has played 16 times in all competitions this season.
