The two giants of Serie A will face off at Juventus Stadium this evening in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final, with kick off at 19:45 UK time.
Mazzola evaluated the match and the Scudetto battle as well as looking ahead to Juve’s Champions League clash with Bayern Munich.
“I think it’s a very important match for both teams because Juve must confirm their positive run that has allowed them to make a comeback in the league, while Inter need to know that they’re not in crisis,” Mazzola told TuttoJuve.com.
“I think it’s very difficult to get inside Mancini’s head, but he’ll play with two wingers and a striker. Tactically? He’ll try to dictate the match, otherwise he risks a lot in my opinion.
“At first, when I looked at the table I thought it would be a five-way Scudetto fight, including the teams that are now a bit further behind like Inter, Fiorentina and Roma.
“Is Juve-Napoli decisive? I don’t think so, it’ll be a battle until the end.
“Bayern are the worst opponent you could meet, but in football the better team doesn’t always win. At the moment Bayern are one of the best in the world, but Juve have the player to try and trip them up.
“Like Paulo Dybala? Yes. I think he’s like Omar Sivori, I like him a lot.”
