Walter Mazzarri admires Napoli's never-say-die spirit, but warns it would be a grave error to underestimate Lecce.

“Games like this can become a trap,” said the Coach just days after a sensational 92nd-minute winner against Steaua Bucharest.

“After extraordinary achievements like our Europa League qualification in stoppages, there is always the risk you will underestimate a match that deserves all your concentration.

“Games like this can become a trap,” said the Coach just days after a sensational 92nd-minute winner against Steaua Bucharest.

“After extraordinary achievements like our Europa League qualification in stoppages, there is always the risk you will underestimate a match that deserves all your concentration.

“In fact, it is an important step to remain consistently in the top positions. I hope there is also a real help from the fans.

“It seems to be our characteristic that we snatch victories right at the death. We never give in and even when our opponents think they've got it in the back, we find the psychological and physical energy to hit them again.”

Ezequiel Lavezzi is still out with an ankle injury, but Napoli must also do without the suspended quartet of Salvatore Aronica, Hugo Campagnaro, Paolo Cannavaro and Michele Pazienza.

“I have absolute faith in every player in this squad, as everyone has shown the ability to adapt and work for the team.

“I still have a few doubts on who to field between Jose Sosa and Juan Zuniga, as they represent different characteristics to replace Lavezzi.”
