Walter Mazzarri would like his Napoli side to give a proud performance against Steaua Bucharest in the Europa League tomorrow night.

The Partenopei can still go through to the next round of the competition if they beat Steaua at the San Paolo in what looks set to be a thrilling encounter.

"I don't know if it is the most important game since I have been at Napoli," Mazzarri revealed.

"It's certainly a game that I care about a lot. We are still on course in the Europa League and we are the only team who can realise this objective.

"We are playing in our stadium. We have only one win from our first five games. They are in a better position. But it's reason to be proud following what we did last season. Just being in the Europa League is fundamental.

"Steaua are a great team and we did not take that into account in Bucharest. We found ourselves behind in an unusual manner in Bucharest then managed to redress it. They will be very motivated. We'll see if they change something tactically. We are quite prepared in the event of that.

"We need the perfect game in defence so as not to run any risks. When we do well, we are in a position to put anyone in difficulty," he concluded.
