“It was a great game, but our fault was not scoring a goal when we had the chance. We were hasty in our finishing, because the statistics all show we were superior on their own turf in terms of possession, territorial coverage and precision.
“Meite’s chance was practically a penalty and if he’d scored for 2-2 there, we could’ve poured forward in the final minutes.
“Unfortunately, knowing we were chasing the tie after the first leg made us anxious to score early, even players like Daniele Baselli snatching at the shots.

Adama Traore was again a nightmare down the right flank and provided an assist for the first goal.
