“I wouldn’t go over the top, as the performance wasn’t that negative,” insisted Mazzarri.

“We took on a very good team and everyone has struggled so far in Udine. We started below par and made a lot of technical errors, but if we look at the game overall, then a draw would’ve been the correct result.

“We can’t think that Torino can come here for a walk in the park, as Udinese are a physically strong team. Many of our players need to find their form and we saw that today.

“On the goal, we should’ve been more alert on the knockdown, as details like that can decide a match. We need to be sharper both physically and mentally.”
