Inter Coach Walter Mazzarri insists the presence of President Erick Thohir in the San Siro crowd does not put added pressure on his side.

The former Napoli boss is set to have talks with the Indonesian businessman regarding his future soon and says it is important the Nerazzurri finish the season in good form.

“I thank Thohir for having said that he is pleased with the team,” Mazzarri told Sport Mediaset today.

“Now we need to do all we can until the end of the season to lay a foundation for next year.

“There is always pressure here. The presence of the President can give us a boost, it can’t be a negative thing.

“We will assess what we need to do in May, at the moment the important thing is to finish the season well.

“The present is important, just like the future. I hope the best is yet to come from this team and finishing the season well could give us the boost we need.”
