“I’ll talk in general terms,” Mazzarri said when asked about it in his pre-Fiorentina Press conference.
“In the post-war period the Grande Torino, like [Fausto] Coppi and [Gino] Bartali [both cyclists] were icons, and they are untouchable. They made history for Italy.
“They were a source of pride at a historic time for our nation. They must not be touched. I won’t go into the rest, but as an Italian and a normal person that is what I think.”

“They’re a young team and that’s reflected in their style of play because they make everyone suffer.
“Even when they don’t get results, they cause problems for everyone. It’s not easy to limit them, so we’ll have to play a good game.
“We can also count on being at home, with our fans who can give us something extra. We respect Fiorentina, but we’re aware of our strength and we have home advantage.”
