“This is the final of all finals, then we’ve got the last fixture of the season against Lazio,” said Mazzarri in his Press conference.

“If we do well here, then that means we’ll have a fantastic performance with Lazio. We need to keep the tempo and momentum up in these last rounds.

“Torino have never won away to Empoli in Serie A, so that is an extra difficulty we’ll need to face up to, but we’ve already beaten many taboos this season and in my view this side has stepped up a level.

“We mustn’t think about other results, but only focus on ourselves and what we can control. We’re going to really need our fans and I would love to see the stands of the Stadio Castellani in Granata colours, because this is a very important game for Empoli too and their supporters will make themselves heard.”

Cristian Ansaldi has joined the injury list with Koffi Djidji and Vittorio Parigini, but youth team players Vincenzo Millico and Vitalie Damascan are called up.

Torino squad for Empoli: Ichazo, Rosati, Sirigu; Aina, Bremer, De Silvestri, Izzo, Moretti, N'Koulou; Baselli, Berenguer, Lukic, Meité, Rincon; Belotti, Damascan, Iago Falque, Millico, Zaza
