But the Argentine striker has reflected on his recent knee injury – which happened earlier this season against La Dea.

“My accident happened on November 4 [against Atalanta],” he told Il Secolo XIX. “I was thinking about it the other day.

“It was certainly not a good memory for me, but it is water under the bridge now.

“Now I am focused on getting back to 100 per cent fitness and helping the team.

“At Bergamo we expect a decisive match where we can possibly achieve our goal – salvation.”
