Torino striker Maxi Lopez left before being interviewed by Rai Sport after his side's Coppa Italia win last night because he was ‘too cold’.

The 32-year-old was waiting on the touchline after scoring in the Granata’s 4-0 win over Pisa last night, but decided that he had waited too long in the cold.

Calcionews24 reports that the Argentinian quit just as the journalist was due to ask the first question, as the line of reporters had moved along too slowly.

Last night’s strike was the forward’s first of the campaign after finding playing time limited under Sinisa Mihajlovic, having made just one start in Serie A so far this term.

Lopez was criticised by the new boss earlier on this season for being 7kg overweight.
