Midfielder Mauri has been suffering from tonsillitis, but has now recovered and trained regularly with his teammates.
However, the CONI and medics warned that if Mauri did play and was picked for a random doping test, he would fail because of the antibiotics and anti-inflammatories he took for tonsillitis.
It was therefore considered better to err on the side of caution and leave Mauri out of the squad, though he will be available for the next round.
Senad Lulic can play, although he is still not at 100 per cent.
