Sassuolo striker Alessandro Matri has reportedly offered himself to former club Milan.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Matri has an ‘excellent relationship’ with Milan directors Leonardo Paolo Maldini.
The newspaper adds the 34-year-old is ‘willing’ to act as backup to Gonzalo Higuain and Patrick Cutrone and ‘end his career’ where it began.
The former Italy international has scored goals for the likes of Juventus, Cagliari, Lazio, Genoa and Fiorentina in his career, before settling down at Sassuolo in 2016.
