Juventus' Alessandro Matri has again underlined that he doesn’t expect to be leaving the Italian champions at the end of the season.

The Old Lady have already agreed to sign Fernando Llorente from Athletic Bilbao, while they continue to be linked with Real Madrid’s Gonzalo Higuain, PSG’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic and even more attackers.

If a number of new arrivals do turn up, then Matri and Fabio Quagliarella are being suggested as the men who will be sacrificed.

“I’m staying, 100 per cent,” the former Cagliari man told Sky Sport Italia. “I’ve had no signal from the club to suggest otherwise.

“I don’t know my future, but at the moment my permanency here is certain.”

The 28-year-old has scored eight goals in 21 League games for the club this term.

Sebastian Giovinco, Quagliarella and Mirko Vucinic have all appeared in more Serie A ties in 2012-13 than the Italian international.
