“Mati will have the surgery over the next few days,” confirmed agent Alejandro Santisteban to Gianluca Di Marzio.
“The injury was a heavy blow, because he is an important player for Chile and really wanted to be there at the World Cup.
“Is his future with the Viola? Yes, as of today that is the case. Fiorentina are focusing on him and as things stand he will remain.”
