The striker has scored 50 goals in 100 games since joining the Nerazzurri, but has so far received just one cap for his country, as an 82nd minute substitute against Uruguay in 2013.
“There’s a lot of talk about him,” Martino told reporters in Argentina.
“Both in terms of what he does on the pitch and off it, but of course I only consider what he does on the pitch.
