Lautaro Martinez took just 16 minutes to score his first Inter goal, then Yann Karamoh bagged a brace as they beat Lugano 3-0.

Luciano Spalletti’s side began pre-season training with their opening friendly match in front of 4,635 fans this evening.

Martinez just arrived from Argentina and made an immediate impact, as his first shot was parried on a Radja Nainggolan assist and he got back on his feet to knock in the rebound.

Karamoh then took control in the second half, finding the net twice in just five minutes.

He first ran on to Matteo Politano’s through ball and shrugged off a tackle to finish from close range, then completed an Antonio Candreva counter-attack with his nutmeg.
