Olympique Marseille have reportedly gone ‘all out’ for Roma midfielder Kevin Strootman.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Marseille are prepared to spend a considerable chnk of the €33m they received from selling Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa to Fulham on Strootman.

The newspaper explains ‘the next 48 hours could be decisive’ as L’OM have only a week to do a deal for the Dutchman.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Marseille are prepared to spend a considerable chnk of the €33m they received from selling Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa to Fulham on Strootman.

The newspaper explains ‘the next 48 hours could be decisive’ as L’OM have only a week to do a deal for the Dutchman.

However, convincing the 28-year-old to leave the Giallorossi ‘won’t be easy’ as he ‘feels Roman’ and is ‘very attached’ to the Italian capital, where his partner recently gave birth to a baby boy.

Nonetheless, he worked under Marseille boss Rudi Garcia at the Olimpico and could be ‘tempted’ by a ‘significant’ improvement on his €3.2m salary.
