“It is certainly a game we have to win, by any means necessary, then there is an equally difficult final match away to Galatasaray,” Marotta told Sky Sport Italia.
“We must therefore try to put this result under lock and key while we await the result from Real Madrid-Galatasaray.”
Fernando Llorente and Carlos Tevez start up front tonight and have overcome early hiccups.
“When we signed Llorente it was because he was a great transfer opportunity. He was off the field for almost a year and had to adapt to a different style of football.
“Antonio Conte did well to drill those concepts into him and now we are all satisfied. He was a Spain international before, so it’s not as if we are just discovering his talent.
“Of course there were going to be doubts on how Tevez would settle into a new environment, but he is an ideal professional and made the process very simple.”
