The Italy international has not been seen at any of Juventus' games this season after back surgery following the World Cup.
Journalists claimed that Buffon's absence spoke volumes and that he might move to Manchester United in the summer.
Yesterday the World Cup winner said he missed the photo shoot because he was picking up an award in Switzerland.
Marotta confirmed as much and looked to put the matter to bed once and for all.
"Juve have nothing to reproach Gigi for," he said.
"Actually we expect him on the pitch as soon as possible. No such incident with Buffon exists."
Del Neri also had another say on the reports in the media.
"We didn't speak to each other today nor did we see each other. But there is nothing strange in that.
"He is doing various training sessions and is not at Vinovo with us. I hope that in the next few days he gets in the car and comes to find us."
