Inter CEO Beppe Marotta has confirmed Suning are ‘considering’ selling a stake in Inter.

It was reported in December by Il Corriere dello Sport that Suning were considering an approach by outside investors.

Inter chairman Steven Zhang denied that was the case but other reports have emerged over the last few weeks, insisting equity fund Bc Partners are eager to invest in Inter and won’t rule out purchasing a majority share from Suning.

“The owners are considering the opportunities in the interest of Inter and in respect of the history of the club,” Marotta told Radio Rai ahead of Fiorentina-Inter.

“We know we can count on a solid basis, we are compact. They are rumours hovering above our head which we should not care about.”
