“I am struggling to believe this Serie A season can conclude regularly,” Udinese director Marino told Radio Sportiva.

“The scenarios are still so unpredictable and we must prepare for the worst case scenario. If what is happening to Serie C teams should spread to Serie A, then what do we do?”

There have been so many postponements in Serie A and the Coppa Italia that there is still no date for InterSampdoria, nor any idea when the Coppa Italia semi-finals could be played.

“Football without fans is damaging for everyone, but we must follow the rules set to ensure life can continue and we won’t suspend the league entirely.

“We don’t seem to realise that we are on the same track as an apocalyptic movie. Sooner or later, the Government could suspend all sporting activity. They already did it in China.”
