Polish referee Szymon Marciniak has been assigned to the Europa League semi-final between Inter and Shakhtar Donetsk.

It kicks off in Dusseldorf on Monday at 20.00 UK time (19.00 GMT).

Marciniak will be assisted by Pawel Sokolnicki and Tomasz Listkiewicz.

William Collum is the fourth official, while Pawel Gil is the VAR.

Marciniak is a 39-year-old referee who already officiated Inter’s 3-1 win over Slavia Prague in the Champions League group phase back on November 27.

Involving Italian teams at club and international level, Marciniak oversaw nine wins, five draws and six defeats.

No Ukrainian teams have ever won with Marciniak, managing three draws and one defeat.
