Claudio Marchisio of Juventus has regrets over the 0-0 draw at Chievo Verona on Sunday afternoon.

The Turin giants maintained joint top spot in the table, but they missed an opportunity to move clear of their recognised Scudetto rivals.

"We should have made more of the opportunities that we created in Verona," the Italian international told Libero.

"We have to give more, especially against sides like Chievo who are wizards of the pressing game," he added.

"We started very strongly at the Bentegodi, but it is hard to find space against teams who defend with 10 men.

"We were better after the break where we created two or three good chances. We need to play with spirit in every game."

Juve are unbeaten in Serie A this term, having won three and drawn three of their opening matches of the campaign.

"These first six games of the season confirm that the championship is very balanced," he continued.

"Now we have to take advantage of the home games against Genoa and Fiorentina” data-scaytid=”11″>Fiorentina as we'll face away ties at Inter and Napoli at the end of the month."

Much is being made of Juve's advantage of being out of Europe, but the lack of games is seeing some big names excluded from action.

"We're not happy being out of the Cups. Juve are used to playing in Europe, but our exclusion could be of benefit. With so many new players, we will improve by being able to train all week.

"No Cup games mean less games overall, but the Coach has to make his decisions and people will get a chance to play further down the line."
