Claudio Marchisio, Ignazio Abate and Alessio Cerci have resumed full training with the Italy squad ahead of Tuesday’s trip to Malta.

The Azzurri are preparing for the World Cup qualifier on Tuesday evening and the whole squad was able to train together at Coverciano today.

Marchisio missed the 2-2 draw with Brazil after coming down with tonsillitis and a high fever, but has now recovered.

Abate and Cerci also shook off knocks, while Alessandro Florenzi joined the squad today from the Under-21 set-up.

Daniele De Rossi and Pablo Daniel Osvaldo have already left the Azzurri camp, as they are both suspended against Malta.
