Spanish media claim Inter will sell Colombia international Fredy Guarin to Valencia.

Previously linked with Manchester United, PSG and Juventus, Guarin was holding up much of the Nerazzurri’s transfer strategy.

He had already rejected a €12m move to Zenit last week, but it’s reported he will be leaving San Siro before the deadline.

Marca claim Valencia are on the verge of completing their deal to sign Guarin for a similar sum offered by Zenit.

Inter will then use those funds to seek a striker. The first choice is PSG talent Ezequiel Lavezzi, but Fabio Borini on loan from Liverpool is also an option.
