Chievo assistant Christian Maraner insists his team will be ready to face Palermo come Sunday’s Serie A clash.
Preparations for the match in Sicily have been marred by Coach Rolando Maran’s mother passing away, but the Flying Donkeys number two says his players will be focusing on ‘playing their game’ and putting in a good performance at Stadio Renzo Barbera.
“Independently of the team we are playing against, we always try to prepare in order to get as much as we can out of it,” Maraner began.

“This is an important match, we are going to Palermo to play our game. We won’t be unprepared.
“The change in Coach will give them [Palermo] something more and I expect a tough match.”
