Roberto Mancini walked out two weeks ago and De Boer has only been at the helm for 11 days, playing just one friendly.
“We are going in almost blind here, because Inter only played one match under this Coach. We’ve got fewer certainties than usual, but must ensure we are ready for any situation.
“It means we’ll have to focus more on ourselves and the things we want to do on the pitch. We want to start the season well and the fact we’re facing a top club just makes us even more motivated.
“We are eager to see what we’re made of and measure ourselves up against a great team. It will be a pleasure to meet and face off against De Boer, a Coach who comes from a different school of football. We’ve already seen his quality at Ajax and in Europe.
“Chievo can become predictable if we don’t have the right approach, whereas our hunger can give us extra strength.”
