“It wasn’t the usual Chievo,” Coach Maran told Rai Sport.
“We lost a game where we should’ve been able to come away with a result. It was not a positive performance and this Chievo was miles off the one I am accustomed to seeing.
“It was a step backwards in every sense and we have to turn the page now. We’ve also been unlucky in recent weeks, but today the performance itself was simply not there.
“We need to be much more determined and aggressive.”
