And speaking ahead of his team’s home match with Inter, Maran stressed Chievo are keen to avenge a 5-0 defeat at the San Siro earlier this campaign.
“We still feel the defeat in the reverse match on our shoulders and that is another motivation for us to do well,” the Bentegodi boss commented.

“We need to use the experiences we have had. Inter are very solid and they give very little away.
“They are good at winning back the ball and they have had an extra day of rest compared to us.
”Our route to survival doesn’t depend on any one formation. It depends on our attitude, spirit and how we interpret certain moments in the match.
“All that matters is the Chievo shirt. We will do all we can, focus on ourselves without thinking of others.”
