Alberto Paloschi popped up with the winning goal just nine minutes from time at the Stadio Bentegodi.

Maran replaced sacked Coach Eugenio Corini and is now within a point of Verona.
“I’ve been here for two months and we made a good comeback. There was a positive turn, but it’s a long road ahead of us yet.”
