Italy begin their European Under-21 Championships against England tomorrow and Coach Devis Mangia insists “we’re ready.”

The Azzurrini are in Group A with England, Norway and hosts Israel, kicking off tomorrow at 19.30 UK time.

“This is a top level tournament with the strongest national teams in Europe,” said Mangia in his Press conference.

“The lads are all in good shape, we worked hard and have the right state of mind for the tournament.”

Lorenzo Insigne is ready to start after shaking off an ankle injury he picked up during training this week.

“We’re ready and we have our minds solely on England. I won’t say who the favourite is from this group.

“I only know that we always step on to the field in order to give our all, so making calculations on what to get from this game really is not in our nature.

“We are a real team and are all concentrated on the same objective, so we want to have a great Euros.”
