Verona boss Andrea Mandorlini gave Juan Iturbe a stern talking to after their 0-0 draw with Catania.

“Our humility made the difference today and that is what we needed to get a result in an arena like this,” the Coach told Sky Sport Italia.

“We had the right spirit and towards the end I thought we’d win the game, but perhaps that was asking too much. We are content with the point, even if we missed a couple of great chances due to the wrong decision-making.”

Among those decisions was Iturbe going for goal when he should’ve passed it to Luca Toni.

“Iturbe has incredible quality, but he must learn to play with the team more. Our position in the table remains solid and our objective is still to secure safety this season.”
