“We put in a good performance against Roma and are happy with the point, but every game has its own story,” said the Coach.
“Genoa are fired up and have enthusiasm, as they did really well against Palermo last week. It’s going to be tough and Genoa are completely different to Roma in every way.
“I don’t know exactly at what stage of development we are, but having nine out of 10 ‘old hands’ in the squad from last season certainly helps.
“I get positive vibes in terms of mentality. We’re in good shape, so if Genoa want to beat us, they’d better put in a top class performance.
“We must keep the intensity and concentration up throughout, as Genoa become stronger on home turf. They’re a tough obstacle for us, but we represent the same as far as Genoa are concerned.”
Artur Ionita, Filip Helander and Mohamed Salim Fares are still out of action, while Ferdinando Coppola is suspended.
