Verona Coach Andrea Mandorlini has praised Inter boss Walter Mazzarri ahead of their meeting tomorrow night.

The Gialloblu face the Nerazzurri on Saturday looking for the three points that could take them to within a point of their Milanese rivals.

But the tactician has commended his counterpart this weekend.

“Mazzarri is a colleague of mine,” he told Tuttosport. “I wouldn’t say we were friends as such.

“He is just a Coach that I respect greatly. The same goes for someone like Francesco Guidolin – someone who I admire a lot and look up to.

“The Nerazzurri colours will never change, no matter who the owner is. It will take time for them, but I’m sure they’ll be successful.”

Mandorlini then commented on Juan Iturbe and rumours of a departure at the end of the season.

“Iturbe has the characteristics to play for a great team. Since joining us he has been transformed and I think he’s adpted to our game,

“He has everything to be one of the best – but I don’t think he’ll burn out because he has his head switched on.”
