The Argentine signed from the Premier League club last week to much fanfare, and the Italian tactician has claimed that the fans' reaction is for a reason.
“I cannot wait to see him play in our League,” he told Tuttosport. “Tevez is a champion – the top player Juve were missing.
“He will allow Juve to make that next step. That purchase will allow the Bianconeri to go a step above the other teams.
“It is never easy to win, especially if you have already won two championships, but I think Conte's team have what it takes to win a third.
“Tevez knows how to make the difference.
“I think Carlos is a worthy successor to Alex [Del Piero's No.10 shirt].
“Conte will have no problems because Carlos is a model professional.”
Mancini then commented on his own future.
