Claudio Ranieri’s Foxes could secure the Premier League title tomorrow afternoon if they beat Manchester United at Old Trafford.

“I think it’s done now, whether tomorrow or next week,” said the Inter Coach in his Press conference.

“It’s good for Italian Coaches, as it’s not easy to win in the Premier League, especially at Leicester. I hope they dedicate a street to Ranieri!

“This is the beauty of football, as nobody expected Crotone or Frosinone to come into Serie A.

“These things can happen in England, but not in Italy today. Leicester have seven or eight teams clearly stronger, whereas Aston Villa were meant to challenge for the upper mid-table and have been relegated.”

Why does ex-Manchester City manager Mancini believe Leicester couldn’t be replicated in Italy?

“It’s a tactical issue, I feel, as all the teams in England play in a similar way and it’s hard to find sides who take a different approach.

“Leicester were fortunate enough to get several players having the season of their lives when they weren’t well known.

“It happened a few years ago with Blackburn Rovers, who invested heavily, to Nottingham Forest who went from the Championship – English Serie B – so it happens.

“I was at Leicester for a little while and they have an Italian Coach now, so I am happy for them.”
