The Serbian is expected to hold a Press conference this afternoon, where he’ll announce either that he is stepping down from the Bologna job to battle this illness, or he will take time off and see how the situation develops.
Meanwhile, messages of support have come pouring in from all over the Calcio world, none more important than his friend, former teammate and colleague Mancini.
“You’re too strong, this won’t scare you and besides we need to go play paddleboard afterwards,” wrote Mancio on Instagram.
The pair worked together at Sampdoria and Lazio, then Mihajlovic was his assistant manager at Inter.
