Roberto Mancini insists his Inter side is still aiming for the Europa League – ‘we’re becoming a team’.

The Nerazzurri are currently ninth in Serie A, nine points behind the last realistic qualification slot represented by sixth place.

“We have to score goals and win as many games as possible,” Mancini told reporters in his Press conference ahead of the Parma game tomorrow.

“We want the the Europa League. We’ve had negative results, but we’re becoming a team, even if there are still some things to improve.

“We want to get results in the last 10 games, for the fans too.

“I feel sorry for the fans, but also for the players who are giving everything. I knew the difficulties [before taking the job] but I think results only come with hard work.

“Losing doesn’t make anyone happy, that’s obvious.”

The Coach was the subject of criticism from the agent of Mateo Kovacic, but Mancini insists he’s not bothered.

“He’s an Inter player. If I have to talk to him about something I’ll discuss it with the lad directly. I don’t care what his agent says.

“He has to feel comfortable, he’s an Inter player and everyone loves him. We can deal with the occasional error, he’s slowly improving.”
