The CT took over from Giampiero Ventura after failure to qualify for the 2018 World Cup, the first time the Azzurri have missed out since the 1950s.

Mancio steered the Nazionale to second place in the UEFA Nations League group behind Portugal and begins Euro 2020 qualifiers in March.
“It was a great honour to make my debut with the Nazionale. Leading Italy means representing an entire nation and there is a great sense of responsibility.
